so i joined the forums!

i haven't played minecraft in a few months.  Like, before they introduced the patch with dogs.  What major things have changed since then?

The easy answer is A LOT.
We have pistons, powered rails, a whole new world and more blocks, new nether mobs and Enderman. Abandoned mine shafts, Strong hold, NPC villages, New biomes like the swamps. Map generation code has been completely rewritten. sheep, cows, chickens, and pigs only spawn in newly generated chunks otherwise they are persistent and breed able. (feed wheat they also follow wheat so you can herd them) Also a hunger bar now if fully fed your hearts regen. And sprinting and jumping is new as well. Oh and potions and enchants.

It may be easier to read the mine craft wiki....

It is Allison, yay!

Ya lots of stuff. The wiki has a decent change log. Sprinting is win!
