Alright, 3 hours of railway work was removed from Leeroc's to my house and I'm really...really...annoyed about it. I poured and used my resources to build it I need to know who took it down.

It was probably Leeroc. He wasn't too happy when I first put my rail in there. He took down a portion of it and shoved it in a chest along with a note expressing his displeasure with my advances. I would not be surprised if he did the same to you.

I ended up dismantling the rest of the above-ground bits, returning the landscape to how I found it and moving the track down 10 blocks so it's underground, which he appears to be fine with. Mostly, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want random structures coming from outside and messing with the aesthetics or layout of his town. This is understandable. It's his space, and we should respect how he wants it.

Connect with my rail at a height of Y=72 (I think yours is at Y=64) and perhaps we can arrange to build an underground station for easy access to Leeroc's place while preserving its look. If you want, I can handle completing the connection since I already have a relatively inexpensive design for changing elevation.

Dangerspud and I are also going to be experimenting with switching mechanisms, so having another rail line to connect to will be interesting.

I'm no the biggest fan of long above ground rails myself, but it was not me. You can get a lot more resources by building the rails below Y16. I was thinking of digging such a whole from near where I am now ~1600x,~-1800z, but it sounds like a lot of work. If you need help with the redstone let me know.
