When is the reset going to be?

For performance reasons we moved to using Spigot a while back. Spigot is based off of Bukkit which usually updates after the vanilla Minecraft client is released. However, over the course of the past few weeks the Bukkit project has been the subject of an intense bout of drama and has been effectively disbanded.

Previously I was waiting to see what the fate of Bukkit and Spigot would be since the performance enhancements they bring are very useful and the action logging modification we have installed requires their use. However, it seems that there will not be any replacement for these features within any reasonable timeframe, so we will be moving back to the vanilla server. Now that this has been decided I can set a date!

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20th

I forgot about the shift to Spigot.  I've been reading about all sorts of rumors and related aftershocks that support the primary (that is, the one about MS buying Mojang), and wondered how it would affect our game play.

Looking forward to the update.
